Phil Grenier

Philippe Grenier is a multidisciplinary director (commercials, TV, fiction, music videos) known for his cinematic aesthetics, mastery of storytelling, and well-defined creative worlds.

Since entering the advertising industry, Philippe has directed numerous campaigns for clients such as SAAQ, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, NISSAN, MEES, Subaru, Loto-Québec, Interac, Héma-Québec, Tourisme Montréal, OIIQ, IGA, Tel-Jeunes, and the Quebec Cancer Foundation. In fiction, he is represented by the Maxime Vanasse agency (MVA).

In 2021, Philippe directed the second season of the supernatural thriller Le 422, broadcast on Télé-Québec. In 2022, he directed several episodes of the daily drama District 31. In 2024, he won the Gémeaux Award for Best Directing in the category of Best Youth Program or Series - Fiction for Premier Trio, aired on Tou.TV and Radio-Canada.

His short film Muscat, shot in Morocco, was widely acclaimed, winning the Best Narrative Short Film award at the 2024 Provincetown Film Festival (Academy Award® qualifying).

He is currently working on writing his feature film Suzanne, tu tombes, for which he has received support from SODEC and Telefilm Canada.

Lastly, Philippe has directed numerous music videos for artists such as Half Moon Run, Beyries, Peter Henry Phillips, and La Famille Ouellette (Vimeo Staff Pick).
