Vanessa Gauvin‑Brodeur
Vanessa Gauvin-Brodeur grew up across three continents, between Europe, North America, and the Middle East. These diverse realities sparked an early fascination with culture, identity, and the stories that shape our roots.
A multidisciplinary creative working across writing, directing, documentary, fiction, and editing, Vanessa crafts stories grounded in reality, guided by a sensitive perspective and a strong attention to character.
In advertising, she has directed campaigns for brands such as Dove, Volkswagen, National Bank, IGA, Beneva, and the Quebec Milk Producers.
Her documentary ASBESTOS, which she wrote, directed, and edited, was selected for the official competition at the prestigious Hot Docs festival. She is currently developing several projects in both fiction and documentary, including the series Sexugénaires, set to air on TV5.
